To my friends Christmas 2015

Merry Christmas too all my classy elegant and wise extended family of friends and all the people I have been so lucky to collect over the years.  It is such a joy to be reconnected however remotely to new and interesting people and hilarious childhood friends, to enjoy their lives through this venue.  Here's to you, those who had known my childhood.  The Gurrier clan who have shared so much humor and good cheer with me this year. Matteo Bignotti who has been so kind and terribly funny and thought provoking.  Everyone should have a first generation Italian somewhere in their collection.  Here's to the the Simon's.  And to the my dear Malone's, to the Hocking's, Waller's Warren's Murillo's Koci's Kalman's Webb's Pressman's Brewer's Agar's, Coss-Gravlin's and Banga's and so many others. A warm shout out to my beautiful talented  cousins Randy and Patty Snow and their families.  Here's to all the people who willingly enter my days and sometimes save my a**.  What reason do we have for living if not for people to joke with cheer up argue with and discuss change and the challenges ahead?  Christmas is an enormous opportunity to say how much you all mean to me even if by the can-string of Facebook.  It's still all very good.  The mystery of friendship is often the work of angels or positive probabilities that nudge us from hell to heaven like the fluttering of butterfly wings the slightest good will can change the course of lives.  That single thought, silent prayer or inner song we sing for each other is the most protective transformative and healing thing in nature.  By any other name it's love.  It folds space and time.  It transcends circumstance and forms our reality as we create our days.  It gives us knowledge and faith to see past birth death and into why humans are so important in the universe.  We live in a time when we are learning that the past was as amazing as the future.  We are getting lessons and are challenged like no other time in history.  And it is hard.  But like JFK said we don't choose these things because they are easy but because they are hard.  If I was to ask any of you for a Christmas present it would be to commit this year to politics and personal policies that look after our health, the environment and health of future generations some of whom are joining us right now.  Thanks for reading my diatribes and listening to the message that is my life.  The world is made of language and we can do so much if we just use our voice.  Today sing praise to Christ, and tomorrow we do exactly the same thing in every thought we have.

The most recent painting for my collection. The last one of 2015

Bill Zimmermann's 60'th Birthday Message

Well tomorrow I'm going to be sixteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!

So! What else is new? Ha! While I love all the fanfare I'm loving this birthday like a colonoscopy. But wait a minute. Just hold your horses. Conversely (he said) it's also truly amazing that I made it this far you know? So many have not. For this I'm incredibly grateful. Grateful to be here right now. It's been a long road and I have had more than my share of the good life in terms of luck opportunity and the little bit of wisdom I've managed to glean from life. I've hit some highs and plenty of lows and now I'm hitting sixty at ninety miles an hour in a race I really don't fully understand.

Fwd: FAN's New Director Goes Head-to-Head With Proponents of Fluoridation

November 24, 2015

Dear Frederick:

FAN's Executive Director Debates Fluoridation on Public Radio
Last week, Michael Connett appeared on Pennsylvania Public Radio (WPSU) to debate three fluoridation proponents, including a local dentist, the Director of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Epidemiology, and a doctor with the State Department of Heath.  The 28-minute discussion took place on the Take Note Show hosted by Patty Satalia, who asks excellent questions throughout the program and gave Michael enough time to present his arguments along with the latest research.  Best of all, the combination of Michael's points and Satalia's questions clearly showed how little science the so-called experts are familiar with, and how heavily they rely on predictable talking points and endorsements by government agencies and other fluoridation-pushers.

The war on Ina Garten also known as the Barefoot Contessa.

"What's the point of civilization, as Fran Lebowitz has suggested, if not to enjoy linguine with clam sauce?"

Unless you live under a rock or are in league with highly ethical Vegans there's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying any aspect of any food cuisine or any edible thing on earth. The problem is not that we can't partake of the joys of the culinary achievements of modern civilization. It's that deliberate and/or unconscious (culture driven) gluttony is often the outcome. Worse yet when culturally accepted "normal" eating habits enter the sphere of gluttony the consequences can be daunting and often fatal. When I inquire about this some people have said "I'm not afraid to die!" To which I reply "Good because it's not the dying you should be worried about it's the living part just before it."

Degenerative diseases cost the American people hundreds of billions of dollars in medical costs every year. Most are *diet related. So is Ina Garten to be hung from the yard arms? Of course not. And nobody should criticize here for her work. However people who see her recipes as part of a new lifestyle (which Ina herself neglects to warn) are headed straight for the hand basket that takes us all to "health-hell.' I wish I could team up with Ina and design her next book, a plant based diet book filled with all the joys of the burgeoning plant based cuisine style which is gaining momentum, and new recipes that are every bit as sumptuous as the ever so refined and tantalizing traditional cuisines we know and love.  Except they don't drive us into the hands of unscrupulous doctors touting pharmaceutical band aids that are not cures in any sense.  Drugs like NSAID's and cholesterol drugs eventually bring on even worse consequences and more serious problems than the original problem.

Interview with Brad Blanton about his book Radical Honesty

Read Radical Honesty the book here:

January 22, 2008 | 9:47am

STADTMILLER: Are people picking up on this movement now more than ever?

BLANTON: Yeah, there’s some big thing going on across the whole world. I don’t know what it is, but I just signed two foreign rights contracts, I sold three books to international rights in Spanish and it’s like the number of translations has just gone up to 14 languages now. I had a Sunday magazine section in the London Times about a month ago and in El Mundo, the big newspaper in Spain in Madrid, about two months ago. I just got inquiries for French language rights and book sales started increasing for me in the United States. Suddenly the whole world is reflecting back, like reflecting back from what’s going on in Europe. Everybody’s interested in the truth now all of the sudden.

What We All Knew But Would Never Hear From Politicians

The extremely rich have “psychiatric issues” and it affects day-to-day Americans, populist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said recently. Research shows that he’s on to something.
“We all know people who are addicted to alcohol or drugs. These people are addicted to money,” Sanders said earlier this year, according to MSNBC. The result? A “philosophical war being waged against the middle-class and working families.”

Cracked Dry Heels - A Silent Plaguette

The art of dealing with cracked bleeding heels. Good advice on restoring your feet to a youthful healthy glow.

By Bill Zimmermann
Zimmermania Health

Feet need moisture to heal, most drugstore emollients will do. The trick is to remove the offending callouses so the moisture can reach the live skin underneath then keep the calluses at bay.

Start by soaking feet in a warm salt water bath. Sea salt or Epsom salts is best due to their nourishing mineral. Add a few drops of essential oils, such as tea tree, peppermint or lavender, to help clean and disinfect deep into the cracks. Peppermint oil helps cool hot, tired feet while lavender works to heal skin irritations. Tea tree is a great antibacterial and antifungal agent. To keep it simple just soak your feet in hot water will do fine. Even table salt works in a pinch.

On population nature and the meat industry

A friend of mine told me that people have escaped the food chain. He said every other creature depends on and consumes life in many different forms, many are carnivores and with natural guilt eat other animals. We humans now not part of the food chain claim that it is wrong for us. We claim that it is unnatural guilt to consume animals. Well that's wrong. The only reason consuming animals is wrong for humans to my mind is our numbers have grown to a point where it is absurd to slaughter so many animals for food. That if we want to keep increasing in population that our world must change. But we don't want this change. We like it the way it was. We are stuck in the past, longing for a time when there were fewer of us and the planet could absorb our carnivorous ways. It was a time when natural guilt applied to us as it does to carnivorous cats. But today it has become unnatural exclusively for reason of our great numbers. And that is the closest that I have come to the real truth of this matter. If we are the only beings outside the food chain then we are unnatural. Yet we are not. It's a paradox and there are no easy answers. Still to my relief one of the obvious answers is to simply not to exploit animals and to live on a plant based diet. The amazing inventiveness of humans can turn a plant based diet into Haute Cuisine.

Customize your psychology for healthy living

We all know the basic commandments for living a healthy life: Thou shall eat mainly fruits and vegetables, thou will move daily, stay hydrated and get an adequate amount of sleep, etc.
None of us are completely new to these healthy-living guidelines. But, with our lives becoming increasingly hectic, it seems these simple ideals are no longer enough to help us achieve happy, healthy lives. Nowadays, there’s a bit more to it than “eating less and moving more.”
“You can Google good exercise concepts and you can Google good nutrition, but until you’ve worked out what’s going on in your head, and all the self-sabotage techniques and all the blame games and the victim mentalities, then you’re going nowhere.”
As the world we live in changes, it’s only fitting that the recipe for a healthier lifestyle will change, too.
But, spoiler alert: There is no magic formula to suit everyone. Which leads us to our first practice:

If you don't have most of these things you do not have a relationship

Relationships are all about feelings. One morning, you’re up; by night, you’re down… but by “down,” I don’t mean in the dumps. I mean down to the core of your existence, experiencing new levels of emotion and pain.
Those who say relationships are all moments of bliss and euphoria aren’t wrong; they’re just forgetting a lot.
Because good relationships have those negative feelings as much as they have positive ones. Only, the negative ones aren’t negative in the way you’ve experienced them before.
You feel them in a completely new way. You feel sad, but it’s sorrow that comes from deep yearning.
You feel scared, but for the first time, it’s a fear that comes when you’re completely and utterly dependent on someone else.

Perspectives on proper delivery of the Gerson Therapy. Possible accelerants?

Dr. Sircus is amazing but Howard Gerson sets the record straight in a recent email to us at Zimmermania Health.

From Howard Straus this week (Charlotte Gerson's Son, president of Gerson Media Inc.):

Edited slightly for consistency:

Discussion: Can the Gerson Therapy be improved?

Charlotte Gerson was usually the one who would evaluate new methods and/or substances for trying in a clinical setting. We always tested things out on ourselves, first, and then only after ensuring there was nothing “forbidden” in them. As we pointed out, at least two of the preparations below contain sodium, which promotes cancer regrowth immediately.

A Perspective on The Seth Material

My YouTube channel hosts the Seth Speaks abridged audiobook. One commenter asked "Why can't Seth prove his existence?"

I guess he can't prove his existence. What we do know is that his books were dictated without error. I can't imagine any living person doing that. Also his (Jane's) work is the only channeled material that has been admitted to the archives of Yale University. And they are they most accessed material of all at the archives. None of this proves anything but it all points to credibility. When I get really upset and the world does not make sense I open The Nature of Personal Reality and just start reading at a random place or I look for pages I've highlighted. Within minutes I get something (like people report getting from the Bible) of great value that puts my concerns into perspective. Not always but usually I find what I am looking for. Maybe it's fiction maybe it's the greatest work of authentic channeled material ever written. I don't know. But I can say that my life is an elegant wonder. I have everything I ever wanted tangible and intangible. Life is still hard at times but far less difficult than it might have been if I had not believed I could create my own reality. This made me brave, I took chances and left monstrous "friends" behind when they chose different paths (like drugs and alcohol, Satanism hedonic self absorption or gambling etc.) My work and my world are integrated peacefully and in perfect balance because I learned I could create it. Manifestation didn't work like I hoped. A baby of the early Television era I always hoped I could manifest like Samantha or better yet Endora on the sixties TV show Bewitched. Little did I know that Bewitched was manufactured to seduce Americans into buying more stuff. But it was fun and we all loved it.

Reflections on forty years experience with Transcendental Meditation.

- For Traudl, Gale and Justin -

After forty years of T.M. I've watched the organization grow from a time before Fairfield Iowa. I watched Chopra and Maharishi take over the world with great information and programs. The fallout of the T.M. movement has been incredibly profitable and has provided very comfortable lives for the corporate entities that have grown out of it. I have to say that the symptoms of PTSD are not fully dissolved with T.M. but it does help somewhat. T.M. works great for ADD and ADHD. The most interesting thing about T.M. from my experience is an important step in the walk to higher consciousness.
It's terribly important to understand that it is just one part of the process that is necessary to manifestation and creation. T.M. removes us from reality and places us into a state of complete insulation from it. A place where the stresses and strains of the day can not touch us. It is a perfect silent communion with the river of life, with creative intelligence and with nature to an astonishing degree.

Prozac may not be the only way to get rid of your serious blues. Soil microbes have been found to have similar effects on the brain and are without side effects and chemical dependency potential. Learn how to harness the natural antidepressant in soil and make yourself happier and healthier. Read on to see how dirt makes you happy.
Natural remedies have been around for untold centuries. These natural remedies included cures for almost any physical ailment as well as mental and emotional afflictions. Ancient healers may not have known why something worked but simply that it did. Modern scientists have unraveled the why of many medicinal plants and practices but only recently are they finding remedies that were previously unknown and yet, still a part of the natural life cycle. Soil microbes and human health now have a positive link which has been studied and found to be verifiable.

Regarding ADD, an exploration into the validity of diagnosis

Regarding ADD, an exploration into the validity of diagnosis.  By Bill Zimmermann

While there is much room for opinion I have this to offer.

The "diagnosis of" A.D.D. otherwise known as Attention Deficit Disorder is to my mind nothing more than a reasonable reply from a normal human nervous system caught at a stage of evolution that can not evolve to the demands of high technology or to the information society that binds it. It is at best habituated to the advancements of population expansion and the technology of an agrarian society after millennia of hunting and gathering.  But now we place this same nervous system on a motorized hamster wheel jet fueled by the demands of a society programmed to mechanize the human, "use him and bend him to our will" while taking comfort in unparalleled historic greed, all at the expense of anything and everything good for the general population of natural human animals.

Attention Deficit is not a Disorder when it is a lack of interest in, for example, doing your taxes or being forced to learn an aspect of knowledge like math when all you want to do is bake bread for a living. Yet we are required to “pay attention” to useless knowledge that is unwelcome in our dreams and to a deeply personal vision of life that influences outside ourselves make every effort to form and manipulate for reasons so venal and obtuse it defies the presence of social conscience and sharply questions the motives of capitalist society itself. The accepted tradition of the Prussian educational system may not be compatible with our personal vision, our natural predilections or our gifts that given the opportunity the homogenizing goals of public school will quash delicate formative visions, diminish them with junk rote learning, boring regimentation beating the light out of a child before he has the ability or opportunity to shine or choose for themselves the direction they want to go.

The deeply personal vision of every individual must focus itself in formative years to pay attention to its own sovereign uniqueness, desires and preferences but rather it is heavily distracted from development of personal vision by a planned schooling based in the alienation of competitiveness, perverse object fetishism and an unnatural desire for power over people – what is this to the ADD diagnosis? ADD is simply the rejection of the irrelevant. It is wisdom seeping through the cracks. It is a message from the unconscious that the conscious mind is imprisoned. It is a cry for release. The apathy found in ADD people is a signal to society that humanity is not ready for the premature arrival of the future nor is it prepared to accept the archaic principles and ill-founded policies that control us. This is why the four million plus American home-schooled kids shine and will one day be the people, it is predicted, that will save humanity, notwithstanding ADD identification.

Therefore Attention Deficit may be a gift from the soul. It screams, “I'm not ready for this!” It yells “I don't want that!” and quite simply it states, “This is not for me.” The only judgments in the world that every human being has the right to declare, but sadly are not given the choice to make under the hammer Prussian educational design to foster the needs of a an antiquated competitive surreptitious and manipulative society based in the fears found in current and ancient human physical and biological design.  A design by people in possession and controlling others from an old model of paternal monkey brained ethics that is as old and antiquated as the nervous system it begs to advance.

In conclusion.  It is the demand of consciousness itself that we expand and use the earth and all its resources to grow and prosper.  What we desire is directly tied to the unique design of each human soul expression.  When kids are badly or improperly raised they become confused adults that suffer from gaps in what would otherwise be an education to match the soul. Any and all governmental or policy driven ideologies suppress the natural expression of the soul. Add in the current toxicity of the world, poor nutrition of most Americans and the unnatural programming of the citizenry you get what you see at the mall.  Fat, dumb and sick people that look at you as if to say... "What happened?"  We can do better than this.  In fact we can't do much worse. We have co-opted the future of our children for material gain, ignored the needs of the future with selfish greed and diagnosed human nature as illness only to demand of the body and of each other superhuman qualities that the human organism is simply not yet evolved to.  Then we demand a remedy to the diagnosis, a pill, speed or enhancement to force the mind to focus on what it does not want.  It would appear that we have encroached upon the human machine itself.  We have institutionalized it, homogenized and labeled it to a degree that it has become a not a defect but a social disease.  The disease is called progress.  And the symptom is normal natural human health and the wellbeing.

12 Truly Useable Tips to Overcome Laziness

12 Tips to Overcome Laziness

By Remez Sasson

What is laziness?

It is the desire to be idle, to do nothing and resist effort.

It is a state of passivity and of letting things stay as they are.

Sometimes, we enjoy being a little lazy, such as after working hard for several hours, or on a very cold or warm day, but if this state occurs too often, something has to be done about it.

In order to carry out our chores, work efficiently, live to the fullest, and achieve success, we must learn how to overcome laziness.

Simple tips for overcoming laziness:

1) Break down a task into smaller tasks
We often avoid tasks because we find them too big, too overwhelming, too tiring, or taking too much of our time.

Breaking a task into several smaller tasks can solve this problem. Then, each one will not seem so difficult or intimidating. Instead of having one big task, we will have a series of small tasks, which do not require too much effort.

This approach can be applied not only to tasks, but also to goals and everything else we have or need to do. This will tend to melt much of the laziness and inner resistance we often experience.

2) Rest, sleep and exercise
In some cases, laziness is due to being tired and lacking energy. If this is true in your case, you need to give yourself the rest and sleep you need, and also give your body enough exercise and fresh air.

3) Motivation
In some cases, the reason for laziness is due to lack of motivation. You can strengthen your motivation through affirmations, visualization and thinking about the importance of performing your task or chore or achieving your goal.

4) Have a vision of what and who you want to be
Frequently reflecting on the person we want to be, the goals we want to achieve, and the life we want to live, can motivate us to act.

5) Think about benefits
Think about the benefits you will gain if you overcome your laziness and take action, instead of thinking about the difficulties or obstacles. Focusing on the difficulties of carrying out the task, leads to discouragement, avoidance of taking action and to laziness. It is important that you focus your mind and attention on the benefits, not on the difficulties.

6) Thinking about the consequences
Think about what will happen, if you succumb to laziness, and don't perform your task or chore. Thinking about the consequences of not acting, can also push you to take action.

7) Doing one thing at a time
Focus on doing one thing at a time. If you feel you have a lot to do, you will probably feel overwhelmed and let laziness overcome you, instead of you overcoming laziness.

8) Visualization
Your imagination has a great influence on your mind, habits and action. Visualize yourself performing the task easily, energetically and enthusiastically. Do so before starting with a task or goal, and also when you feel lazy, or when your mind whispers to you to abandon what you are doing.

9) Repeat affirmations
Tell yourself:
"I can accomplish my goal."
"I have the energy and motivation to act and do whatever I want or have to do."
"Doing things makes me stronger."
"Doing things makes things happen."

10) Regards a task as an exercise
Consider each task as an exercise to make you stronger, more decisive and more assertive.

11) Procrastination
Avoid procrastination, which is a form of laziness. If there is something you have to do, why not do it right now and get through with it? Why let it stay nagging at the back of your head?

12) Learn from successful people
Watch successful people, and how they do not let laziness win. Learn from them, talk with them and associate with them.

Overcoming the habit of laziness is achieved through a series of daily actions and activities, when you choose to act, instead of remaining passive. Every time you overcome your laziness you get stronger. Every time you choose to act, you increase your ability to win, achieve goals and improve your life.

A vegan's experiences with Modafinil (Provigil) nootropic stimulant

Text is an account of several experiences from several people.

Check out this New Yorker article

I am a 49 year old.  I have had PTSD and clinical depression for 21 years.  A warrior personality I beat the shit out of depression using a five tiered system.  It worked but it took a huge amount of effort every day.  When I would travel MY GOD would jet lag kill me.  That is when I started to use small 50mg doses of prescription Modafinil.  Being a vegan, a healthy person and extremely cautious what I put into my body I still did not have enough energy and blamed it on age, depression PTSD whatever...    NONE of the very few antidepressants I allowed into my body worked.  Actually they sucked out loud.

A Real Future for Psychology

You may have read about a recent study that suggests psychedelic drugs like “magic mushrooms” and LSD don’t cause any kind of psychological or mental health harm. The authors want to take psychedelics a step further and give them away to people, entirely for free, as a therapeutic treatment

In their study, Johansen and Krebs looked at the data of the U.S. National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Among 135,000 participants, 14% said they used certain types of psychedelics, like LSD, mescaline, peyote, psilocybin, or MDMA in their lifetimes. The researchers concluded that the individuals who had used a psychedelic drug in their lives were no more likely to suffer any kind of mental health problem, including schizophrenia, psychosis, anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts.

A Healthy Perspective on Confidentiality

Pssst. Can you keep a secret? How do you react when you hear these words uttered in a hushed tone? Do you feel important that you are about to be trusted with confidential information, or do you wonder if it’s gossip that you don’t want to hear?
In addition to ensuring that you don’t participate in matters that don’t concern you, it’s even more important to keep any confidence that you have been entrusted with by someone else. You can’t expect to advance personally or professionally if you betray the trust someone has placed in you.
Today’s lesson may prick your conscience; however, my hope is that you will see the immense value in learning the importance of keeping things confidential that should be private and secret.

Gourmet Cooked Carrots with Tim Ferriss

5 Signs Someone Connects With You On A Deeper Level Than Anyone Else

Shields up!
When someone has walls up, it’s always for a reason, but the possibilities for that reason are endless.
Perhaps you are cynical since so far, everyone you date seems to be the same — disconnected, unremarkable and incapable of making a lasting impression. Maybe you suffer from generalized anxiety and, therefore, find it difficult to enjoy the moment.
It could be you've dealt with so much rejection that the opposite concept (someone choosing you) is nothing but a figment of your imagination. It may be you're so used to being disappointed that when you finally meet someone different, you doubt he or she is for real.
But, what if your dream person was for real, and not believing in his or her authenticity was a big mistake?

Film Review "The Imitation Game." A healthy commentary.

The Imitation Game - 2014 - based on a true story.

By Bill Zimmermann

I just finished watching the movie The Imitation Game for the second time tonight. Twice I've seen this film and I still can not wrap my head around it. The importance, the meaning and the magnitude of the gifts Alan Turing gave to a world in the 1940's is simply mind boggling. His sacrifice was rewarded by the British government when they finally drove him to the point of taking his own life on the seventh day of December 1954. In 2013 Queen Elizabeth II posthumously "pardoned" Alan Turing fifty years after his death.  The facts of his work were declassified.  My question is how can you pardon someone who did absolutely nothing wrong?  In my informed opinion the Queen and the British Parliament should have formally apologized to the LGBT community and then given there full support to LGBT interests in the form of a well funded foundation, an educational endowment, grants and programs for gifted LGBT people proportional to his contribution to humanity.  The idea that one would even consider a "pardon" for what must still be considered a crime is the height of insanity.  It sends the message that being different is still wrong.  A "pardon" is not only inappropriate, it is a direct insult to the sensibilities of an exponentially growing world population rapidly moving into an age of equality peace and genuine enlightenment.

Good advice on dealing with anxiety-the narcissist

Tips for Dealing with Anxiety the Narcissist

Thankfully, there are ways to deal with a narcissist in your life, even if that narcissist is anxiety. Here are a few:
  • Know what you’re dealing with: Just as there are different types of narcissists, there are different types of anxiety disorders. There are anxiety treatments that work for all anxiety in general, and there are other treatments that are specific to certain types of anxiety. Knowing about your own specific anxiety/anxieties can help you target it.
  • Make your life about younot the anxiety: Self-centered and commanding as it is, anxiety wants to be the focus of your world. Rather than letting it do so, turn your attention away from it. Begin to define what you want your life to be like (not simply “no anxiety” but instead what specific, positive things do you want in it). Determine what little steps you can take every day to walk away from anxiety and toward your real life.
  • Be realistic in expectations of timing: As a narcissist, anxiety won’t give up easily. It can have a strong hold and it loves it’s power. That said, anxiety isn’t you; it isn’t who you are. It is a controlling parasite that has latched on. When you continue to seek help for anxiety and build your toolbox of strategies to beat it, you will shake it loose.

Why We Should Stop To Check Our Self Deception Quotient Every Now And Then

This speaker is extremely shallow up until about the six minute mark.  Then the meaning of this video really takes off.  I've studied self deception for many years.  I've written papers on the subject and exchanged ideas on the subject with some very brilliant people.  There are answers to the things that stop us.  Using EFT or Tapping to work with our self deceptions, or talk it out with friends, a therapist or even God if sharing is too painful or shameful to us.  We are responsible for our reactions to all of our problems so sometimes we have to suck it up and go see a shrink.  The stigma around therapists I would say is not that therapy does not work but that most therapists suck.  But a bad therapist is better than no therapist at all.  So go and fix your life.  Use the new tools we have at our disposal.

I wish this video was better, that this woman was sixty three years old facing a lifetime of self deception, or that she was fat and "ugly" with far more difficult trials.  The last person we want to hear from is a beautiful thirty five year old who things she knows something.  But she is on point and gives a great talk.

Preventing and Healing Cancer Naturally with Dr. Jameth Sheridan Plus Wireless Wifi Video

Preventing and Healing Cancer Naturally with Dr. Jameth Sheridan at the Integrated Health Conference

Turning off the WiFi on in your home is important.  Especially when you sleep.  It is advisable to attach a timer to switch off the router entirely the hours you sleep and are not using WiFi.  It is very important to disable WiFi if you are sitting close to the WiFi router.  Plug your computer in and turn off the router.  The switch in the router software is usually "disable radio."

Search creiteria to find out how to turn of your router.

1.  Get the make and model of your router:  Example  Asus RTN12
2.  Get the IP address for the router, the login and password (if required).  This must be done with a computer that is plugged directly into the router with a cable (an ethernet cable).  This prevents the computer from disconnecting from the router when the WiFi is turned off.

Instructional video on the basics of WiFi dangers.

Getting Past Television

Getting real with yourself.

As I get older I notice that there is a huge gap between people in my neighborhood people I see around me in my local community and the person that I am. I see enormous amounts of creativity wasted and and enormous amount of human potential completely gone through the simple act of my neighbors and my friends and the people in my community watching television. The enormity of the waste of time of this activity is so profound at a national level that it appears to be a drug that like alcohol in a better world or an alternate universe would be illegal.

Can a daily pill really boost your brain power? | Science | The Guardian

This link is to an article I found very interesting regarding a new generation of "speed" that leaves a very light biological footprint and can accelerate productivity manifold.  I believe the claims that these new lighter weight nootropics have less biological payback is somewhat true but definitely not as true as their proponents might think.  Make up your own mind.

Clearing up the Iodine Confusion | PharmacistBen.com

Original link to online article

Clearing up the Iodine Confusion

Here’s the relevant facts as I see it on Iodine. I’m going to break this down as simply a I can. Keep in mind there is not a ton of peer-reviewed literature and opinion among the expert vary as to how much iodine and what type of iodine we need. With that caveat in mind I will now wade into the fray! For those of you who do not want the juicy details I will summarize the salient points:IodineThe RDA is 150 MICROgrams and you’ll find that in most good multivitamin sources and tinctures and capsules based on kelp and other herbal materials. This is what is found on most internet sites and health food stores. Although this is a bare minimum dose it is what most physicians and pharmacists are most comfortable with. In my opinion, this is bare bones iodine supplementation.
The so-called Japanese dose of 12.5 to 13 MILLIgrams a day of one of the iodine forms (Potasssium Iodide, Iodine/Potassium Iodide or Potassium Iodate) is probably where you want to be for most nutritional requirements. It is very safe and considered optimal based on the good health of the Japanese who get around this amount on a daily basis. Keep in mind most forms of iodine contain some non-iodine material (Potassium, Oxygen). According to Dr. Michael B. Schacter of the Schacter Center for Complementary Medicine, in iodine deficiency states it can take up to a year to become sufficient in iodine using this dose.
Now Potassium plus Iodine
Potassium plus IodineNow Potassium plus Iodine
Supplement Facts:
Serving Size: 1 Tablet
Servings Per Container: 180
Iodine (from Potassium Iodide) 225 mcg
Sodium (from Sodium Alginate) 5 mg
Potassium (from Potassium Chloride and Iodide) 99 mg
Sodium Alginate 100 mg

Free of: starch, gluten, wheat, yeast, corn, soy, milk or preservatives.
If you want to go crazy and take a higher dose, for non-emergencies, 30-50 MILLIgrams, in my opinion, is as high as you should go. It’s probably safe (although no one know for sure), but be vigilant for hyperthyroid or hypothyroid symptoms. Signs of hyperthyroidism include oily or sweaty skin, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, jitteriness, bulging eyes and signs of hypothyroidism include sluggishness, low blood pressure, dry skin, cold extremities, fatigue and hair loss . In iodine deficiency conditions, again according to Dr. Schacter, it can take several months to become sufficient taking this kind of dose.

Provigil / Modafinil - Big Pharma gets it right?

For those of us who need an edge at times when an edge makes the difference between success and failure, there is finally a real answer with very little biological payback.  Do your research but know this, if these videos make it to EcoHealthLab you can be certain we've vetted this drug.  Once in awhile pharmaceutical companies get it right.  According to every CEO in silicone valley this time they did...

David Asprey on London Real.  Here is his testimonial.

Nothing can replace these:

  1. Be a life-long learner. Never stop learning. If you don’t use it [your brain], turns out you WILL lose it.
  2. Strain your brain. Push the limits with your thinking and learning. It’s not enough to passively learn new information; you learn things complex enough you feel mentally challenged.
  3. Get uncomfortable.  Routine is the enemy of your brain. The brain preserves its cognition by continually building and rebuilding connections between its cells. Break out of your routines and try something difficult.  Your brain will be better for it.
  4. Be social.  Isolation is another enemy for your healthy brain. Social activity and interaction keeps your brain healthy, and is something that often falls by the wayside in later life – especially for seniors who tend to live alone or apart from family members. Staying social will keep you mentally (and likely emotionally) better positioned for aging.

What Thomas Jefferson Did. What He Accomplished and Why It Matters

What Thomas Jefferson Did.  What He Accomplished and Why It Matters

Thomas Jefferson, who was he?

His Portrait is on the Two
Dollar Bill.  Of course it is...

When I read this online I was blown away by who this man was, what he did and why he did it.  What impressed me the most is how much these men reflect what men/women can become and how we, as a society keep ourselves and our kids in a state of extended childhood decades beyond the time when we should become real men and women who get things done like Thomas Jefferson.  The sad truth is that we have not only become lazy but the neoteny (the inappropriate extension of childhood) begins with the public school system which is designed to stunt growth and not educate children in many important disciplines - areas of study critical to success in life.  Class work that is completely left out of the curriculum. The scary thing is that teachers buy into the current system lock stock and barrel.  They do not protest even when they are aware of the abuse, dumbing down, a national curse handed down by the German Prussian system of education that has infected the educational systems of so many countries but especially it has warped and perverted real education in the United States.  The work of John Taylor Gatto elaborates on this fact.

What you may never had known about this amazing man and why you will feel totally dumbed down when you finish reading the below text is that you have been denied the educational excellence and training that you were entitled to.  Are we dumbed down?  Read on and decide for yourself.  Jefferson had me beat at age seven.
