Dress for Success California Style By Bill Zimmermann

This article is a work in progress. As I have time to work on it, it will expand nicely and with real cred.  Thanks Bill Z.

Throughout your lifetime you may have heard the phrases “dress for success” or “dress for the job you want, not the one you have” Well, science says if you want to be smarter, dress better. And it's not just superficial. Slip on a tailored suit, fine shoes, and perhaps a bespoke shirt, and it will transform you - in New York City maybe, but what about Southern California?

Highly Sensitive People may just save the world

It's not Aspergers, it's not depression and it's not a mental illness. Highly Sensitive People are probably some of the most misunderstood people in the world today. Misunderstood by their peers, and often misunderstood by themselves, HSP's are tricked into seeing themselves as "mentally weak" due to the constant stream of societal signals that a thick skin is required. And while a thick skin has it's merits desensitized people or the "I don't care" population may have thicker skin but it goes beyond that. The dominant culture suffers from what we know to be caustic insensitivity. It has become the cultural norm. We have become a population of desensitized "I don't care" people.

And that is just the beginning. The super-hero phenomenon and eugenics linked to survival mechanisms pose a true danger to society as transhumanism threatens to enslave the world through certain domination of factions who possess the technologies.

HSP's are often people who have been born with a heightened awareness, some have enhanced DNA strands and show signs of advances in human genetics improving on a quantum level. HSP's lack training in how to use their skills leads to the question, "Who are these people and what can they offer society?" Some suggest they are here to guide and heal a seriously disturbed culture back to sanity kindness and love. But without training the gifts of the HSP often goes untapped. Also, the small number of HSP's in mainstream society and in positions of power is evident in the 99% vs. 1% and between social classes where sociopathy is not only desirable but is a requirement for admission to the upper classes.

Someone HSP Vegan should write a good book on the subject. The World Peace Diet book touches on the power if the HSP but is more a book about Veganism and its virtues. We need to begin identifying and training HSP people in the art of persuasion, the culture of power and the mechanisms of social control. I want to encourage emotionally sensitive people to discover and to develop their true abilities! For having a "super sensitive nervous system", specifically the sympathetic nerve system, is like having a superpower and you're born with it or not! It's like the anti-psychopath biology. Learning how to use your powers takes an understanding of its abilities and practice to manage it properly.

If we are to avoid the pitfalls of Artificial Intelligence, Eugenics, and the threat of those who possess the technologies of transhumanism HSP's must move forward, gain political power and political control over the nations of the world and move the human race out of harms way and move it forward in peace, harmony and love.

Unlocking the power of the Vagus Nerve for self healing

I read an article yesterday that has me extremely excited about the implications. The article is called ‘Hacking the Nervous System’ by Gaia Vince. In the article, the author describes the experience of a woman who suffered from severe, debilitating rheumatoid arthritis and her eventual treatment with a device which minimized inflammation by simply stimulating the vagus nerve.

What this means, is that by activating the vagus nerve which works through the parasympathetic nervous system, we can greatly influence inflammation and the immune system. The role of the brain on body inflammation can be profound. If you suffer from digestive complaints, high blood pressure, depression or any inflammatory condition, please read on. Let me explain the possible implications step by step.

Amazing Creative Greens!

Tips For Cooking Greens
When I was a kid, my idea of “eating my greens” was a serving of baby peas. My sister loved spinach, especially creamed spinach but other than that, I don’t think I even knew about the existence of other kinds of greens. If it wasn’t lettuce in my salad, I was clueless. When I became vegan, a whole world of food was opened up to me: whole grains, succulent fruits, colorful vegetables and a slew of dark, leafy greens. I was amazed at how many kinds of greens there are: cabbage, bok choy, broccoli rabe, kale, collard greens, spinach, Swiss chard, and mustard, turnip, radish, beet and dandelion greens, to name just a few. Today, I love them all. I add greens into just about every dish I make though my favorite way of eating them is simply sauteed or steamed.
I think one of the biggest obstacles people face when it comes to eating dark, leafy greens is not knowing how to prepare them and make them taste delicious. Many greens can taste bitter and often, greens are undercooked and tough or overcooked and mushy. Knowing how to get rid of the bitter taste and be left with tender, flavorful greens requires knowing a few tricks. Consider this a crash course in how to cook greens so they taste delicious.

John Taylor Gatto - Social Management of Children

Superb lecture by John Taylor Gatto on the education and the artificial extension of childhood. For those who do not have an interest in this information are likely to not have an interest in children in general.

Why Prevention Starts at Home

As you know I'm a big fan of prevention. Preventing anything bad or negative before it happens is my base mindset and dealing with life from this standpoint had been my personal default setting for years and has become integral in my way of life. It may not seem heroic macho or significant to some but it works for me. For those of you who understand the art of living, preventing disasters before they happen can be as real as preventing failure or preventing the destruction of the environment. Whatever area you work at preventing negatives you are allowing positives and that in my estimation is a very good thing. That's why I'm a big fan of the Wim Hof Method. (see the blog post)

The Invitation By Oriah Mountain Dreamer

The Invitation
By Oriah Mountain Dreamer

It doesn't interest me what you do for a living
I want to know what you ache for
and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing.

It doesn't interest me how old you are
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
for love
for your dreams
for the adventure of being alive.

It doesn't interest me what planets are squaring your moon...
I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow
if you have been opened by life's betrayals
or have become shrivelled and closed
from fear of further pain.

I want to know if you can sit with pain
mine or your own
without moving to hide it
or fade it
or fix it.

I want to know if you can be with joy
mine or your own
if you can dance with wildness
and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your
fingers and toes
without cautioning us to
be careful
be realistic
to remember the limitations of being human.

It doesn't interest me if the story you are telling me
is true.
I want to know if you can
disappoint another
to be true to yourself.
If you can bear the accusation of betrayal
and not betray your own soul.
If you can be faithless
and therefore trustworthy.

I want to know if you can see Beauty
even when it is not pretty
every day.
And if you can source your own life
from its presence.

I want to know if you can live with failure
yours and mine
and still stand on the edge of the lake
and shout to the silver of the full moon,
"Yes."

It doesn't interest me
to know where you live or how much money you have.
I want to know if you can get up
after a night of grief and despair
weary and bruised to the bone
and do what needs to be done
to feed the children.

It doesn't interest me who you know
or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand
in the center of the fire
with me
and not shrink back.

It doesn't interest me where or what or with whom
you have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
from the inside
when all else falls away.

I want to know if you can be alone
with yourself
and if you truly like the company you keep
in the empty moments.

The Wisdom of George Carlin - Deconstructed

We are all guilty of some of the things George mentions here, fortunately many of us suffer from fewer of these maladies than others. As we watch the shocking absence of wisdom and the continued unraveling of personal ethics within the collective American psyche we can not help but love and appreciate George Carlin for his simple but deep intellectual insight here. He nails American culture right to the cross. Notwithstanding the religious overtones, I have to say that criticism and political correctness should be non-exclusive, but they aren't. As that non sequitur reels through your head-it is exactly what George is telling us here. If we can't take constructive criticism, take it as a compliment from those who care enough to criticize us perhaps then it's time for a personal reexamination of our values. Perhaps a cultural paradigm shift or an attitude adjustment are in order? Why is it that people end friendships when their criticized by their peers in our culture. I see this all the time. Very few Americans are willing to grow or evolve with the help of friendly criticism. Even welcome criticism is considered politically incorrect on an interpersonal level. This could lead a person to a feeling of abandonment which then moves into the psychological realm of cognitive dissonance and personal confusion. Ultimately landing the culture squarely in a state of clinical depression. And that is precisely what has occurred. The culture seems to support an unspoken gag order meme which is further indication that the culture is unhealthy. We are not only divided by glaring political differences but also by interpersonal A.D.D.. A condition that who's the country into a kind of a indifference never seen before. Indifference is simply a nice word for hate. So the next time I refrain from warning a friend who is blind to the machinations of a con artist or refrain from discussing the sad reality that parents face when grown children elect to adopt an extreme religion. What we are actually doing is fearfully withholding wisdom, love, and kindness from people who are then exposed to dangerous people and ideologies.

Apathy is an emotional convenience and also it is a strong indication that American values are fatigued to the point of clinical depression. We simply do not have the energy to care about each other as our emotional gas tanks are drained by confusing and largely irrelevant political drama, negative messages in media, music, and on the many screens we worship, we find we are undeniably in the midst of a culture that is not our friend.

Afterthoughts:

When you look at the newest discoveries beyond metaphysics we start to understand the nature of evil in our culture. I'll go into this in another post or will pursue it here in this post later. But for now please examine your own capacity for criticism and look at your personal need to invite people into your world by asking them for their thoughts.   Bill Zimmermann 10/30/2016

How To Pray In Power - Gregg Braden

Humans are always looking for ways to increase their advantage in any way possible. It's "monkey-think" or the reptilian brain functioning in survival mode. So what then is prayer? Is it a method people use to delude themselves into believing they have power over others or over nature? Or is it a mechanical device that actually does "move mountains" when correctly practiced.  I'm always skeptical of that which can not be seen.  However after 40 years of watching the sketchy but interesting results of what is now referred to as "the law of attraction" but was for me simply the information I got from the Jane Roberts Seth Material coupled with forty years of meditation and the intuition that came from it, I started to see that there was something mysterious when I was desperate sincere and direct in prayer. Something always moved in my favor. Not right away and not always in the exact way I wanted but the burdens were always lifted when though met feeling (emotion). Something ALWAYS moved. So I post these two videos to help clarify what this phenomenon actually is and how you can take advantage of it. I believe the Sumarian texts also support this and that we begin to see the human potential and possible power of these practices.

Quick Overview of the Types of Magnesium Supplements and which ones to avoid

The best forms of magnesium

Magnesium citrate -- Magnesium citrate is a more popular magnesium supplement, probably because it is inexpensive and easily absorbed. Since citric acid is a mild laxative, magnesium citrate functions as a constipation aid as well as a magnesium source. It is a great choice for individuals with rectal or colon problems but is unsuitable for those with loose bowel movements.

Magnesium taurate -- Magnesium taurate is the best choice of magnesium supplement for people with cardiovascular issues since it is known to prevent arrhythmias and guard the heart against damage caused by heart attacks. Magnesium taurate is easily absorbed (magnesium and taurine stabilize cell membranes together), and it contains no laxative properties.

Magnesium malate -- Magnesium malate is a fantastic choice for people suffering from fatigue, since malic acid -- a natural fruit acid present in most cells in the body -- is a vital component of enzymes that play a key role in ATP synthesis and energy production. Since the ionic bonds of magnesium and malic acid are easily broken, magnesium malate is also highly soluble.

Magnesium glycinate -- Magnesium glycinate (magnesium bound with glycine, a non-essential amino acid) is one of the most bioavailable and absorbable forms of magnesium, and also the least likely to induce diarrhea. It is the safest option for correcting a long-term deficiency.

Magnesium chloride -- Though magnesium chloride only contains around 12 percent elemental magnesium, it has an impressive absorption rate and is the best form of magnesium to take for detoxing the cells and tissues. Moreover, chloride (not to be confused with chlorine, the toxic gas) aids kidney function and can boost a sluggish metabolism.

Magnesium carbonate -- Magnesium carbonate is another popular, bioavailable form of magnesium that actually turns into magnesium chloride when it mixes with the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs. It is a good choice for people suffering from indigestion and acid reflux since it contains antacid properties.

The less preferred forms of magnesium

Magnesium oxide -- Magnesium oxide is the most common form of magnesium sold in pharmacies, but it is non-chelated and possesses a poor absorption rate compared to those listed above.

Magnesium sulfate -- Magnesium sulfate, also called Epsom salt, is a fantastic constipation aid but an unsafe source of dietary magnesium, since overdosing on it is easy.

Magnesium glutamate and aspartate -- Avoid these two forms of magnesium completely. Glutamic acid and aspartic acid are components of the dangerous artificial sweetener aspartame, and both of them become neurotoxic when unbound to other amino acids.

The Challenge of the Moment - Decisions that Rock

Right now. Did you see it?  What you were doing, thinking or saying just then, a moment ago, when I said - "Right now"? Well, you missed out on a moment of change but fear not there are plenty more to come. Releasing the cultural brain freeze of lock-step hypnosis to living in the river of change is an exciting new habit of personal growth by experimenting with probable futures at any time you want. And if you can get interested in why this is so exciting you end up a big winner.
HOW TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF RIGHT NOW!
Think! For the next hour, try to challenge yourself in whatever you are currently doing. If you are at a public event go up to random people and try to start a conversation. If you are on the phone with a client try to listen better and use better logic and better diction to communicate a more thoughtful idea or solution. And if you are working out, go for more sets and reps than you might normally do.
If you make it fun you won't stop and will consciously shift reality to a bright future.
  • Self Confidence: If you can beat a challenge, or attempt one, every day it makes you feel like you are making progress in life.
  • “Limits” won’t hold you back anymore. Limitations are often only set by ourselves or people that have never attempted to break those limits.
  • Every day is filled with new experiences for you. The most common regret people have is that they didn’t do something because they were afraid to do it. While challenging yourself means to be afraid for a while afterwards you had made something shift by forcing a small moment of your reality into a better probability by conscious force of will.  The meaning of this must not be missed.  To quell denial and avoidance is to eliminate the grinding wheels of constant regret for things that might have been. When we break the pattern of excuse-making and guilt we are guaranteed authentic personal growth and we experience empowerment as never before. It's always a surprise when life reflects rewards for good high integrity work back to us.
  • Others will view you with respect and awe.  When you challenging yourself successfully you will find others filled with a mixture of jealousy, admiration, respect, anger, inspiration, awe, hate, fear, and excitement towards you. All because you are doing what they are too afraid to do and that gets them pissed off at themselves immensely.
  • You will feel more in control of your life. If you can challenge yourself, beat old limits and drop fear guilt and shame from your life, you will have every reason to be in control. After all: There is nothing to contest it anymore.
When you do these challenges be sure to do it no matter what. If you wimp out as soon as the alarm rings, or you make an excuse why you cannot challenge yourself right now, your life will not change. It only works if it is outside your comfort zone. But don't let that stop you. Anesthetize fear with combative phrases like "this is a piece of cake!" or "Nothing to it!" or get "Zen" in your own handy way ...and go for it. Yes, it does require you to step outside your comfort zone. But you will feel the difference at the end of every day, and a significant change in your life after just one week.
Try it for thirty days. The difference is astounding.
