Purpose of Six Directions La Chi: To activate your own chi-medicine within to heal and strengthen your body.
To get the most benefits out of this chi movements, you need to use an audiotape. The 30-minute THREE- soundtrack audiotape of Six Directions La Chi consists of all the elements you need to learn La Chi
1. Action
2. Visualization
3. Affirmation
4. Breathing
5. Meditation
6. Nonlocal

Benefits:
1. Action: the hands are delivering chi into the three major Dantians (located inside navel, chest, head) so that more chi can be stored and better chi circulation. The blockage of illnesses are dissolved as a direct result of chi flow.
2. Visualization: Expanding to the universe to bring back healing blue sky and stars. By opening up ourselves to the infinite power of the universe, we become the universe itself of unlimited source of energy.
3. Affirmation: The audiotape has different affirmations to remind ourselves while we are in the state of meditation  that we are healthy,  we love ourselves and we love other people. We become healthy, compassionated and full of life when we wake up from this moving meditation. The affirmation also act as landmarks so that you know exactly where you are.
4. Breathing: By moving and  thinking in six directions will enable us to expand our breathing vessels to their maximum capacity without paying attention to breathing itself. We can concentrate on relaxing instead of on the passage of air through the respiratory avenues.
5. Meditation: Throughout the whole tape, the rhythm release / absorb is continuously playing. These words release/absorb becomes the focal point of our meditation. So we can calm our mind while we are doing different movements. When our mind is calm, we are in control of our bones, muscles, tendons, organs and all physical parts. Once we are in charge, we can send healing chi to where is needed in our body to heal and to rejuvenate ourselves.
6. Nonlocal: Chi connects all things without physical connection. Ten million chi-lel practitioners connect together to form a great healing chi-field. Even if we  practice alone at home (local) but we actually practice with millions of people over space and time (nonlocal). As soon as we project love and compassion into the chi-field, immediately we will get millions times of love and compassion in return.  With feeling of love and to be loved, we will enjoy life better and heal and preserve our health longer and stronger.

Thank you, Charlie, for this video!!

Questions:

1. In each "release" phase, aren't we also releasing much of the fresh chi that we've gathered in the previous repetition? Or do you assume that during each "absorb" phase, we absorb plenty into the naval, and it naturally descends into the lower Dantian?

2. My hands get warm if I'm sitting up, but stay cool if I practice lying down. Can cool hands effectively deliver chi when I place them on the area I'd like healed?

Thanking you in advance -
