Learn how to harness the natural antidepressant in soil and make yourself happier and healthier. Read on to see how dirt makes you happy.
Natural remedies have been around for untold centuries. These natural remedies included cures for almost any physical ailment as well as mental and emotional afflictions. Ancient healers may not have known why something worked but simply that it did. Modern scientists have unraveled the why of many medicinal plants and practices but only recently are they finding remedies that were previously unknown and yet, still a part of the natural life cycle. Soil microbes and human health now have a positive link which has been studied and found to be verifiable.

Regarding ADD, an exploration into the validity of diagnosis

Regarding ADD, an exploration into the validity of diagnosis.  By Bill Zimmermann

While there is much room for opinion I have this to offer.

The "diagnosis of" A.D.D. otherwise known as Attention Deficit Disorder is to my mind nothing more than a reasonable reply from a normal human nervous system caught at a stage of evolution that can not evolve to the demands of high technology or to the information society that binds it. It is at best habituated to the advancements of population expansion and the technology of an agrarian society after millennia of hunting and gathering.  But now we place this same nervous system on a motorized hamster wheel jet fueled by the demands of a society programmed to mechanize the human, "use him and bend him to our will" while taking comfort in unparalleled historic greed, all at the expense of anything and everything good for the general population of natural human animals.

Attention Deficit is not a Disorder when it is a lack of interest in, for example, doing your taxes or being forced to learn an aspect of knowledge like math when all you want to do is bake bread for a living. Yet we are required to “pay attention” to useless knowledge that is unwelcome in our dreams and to a deeply personal vision of life that influences outside ourselves make every effort to form and manipulate for reasons so venal and obtuse it defies the presence of social conscience and sharply questions the motives of capitalist society itself. The accepted tradition of the Prussian educational system may not be compatible with our personal vision, our natural predilections or our gifts that given the opportunity the homogenizing goals of public school will quash delicate formative visions, diminish them with junk rote learning, boring regimentation beating the light out of a child before he has the ability or opportunity to shine or choose for themselves the direction they want to go.

The deeply personal vision of every individual must focus itself in formative years to pay attention to its own sovereign uniqueness, desires and preferences but rather it is heavily distracted from development of personal vision by a planned schooling based in the alienation of competitiveness, perverse object fetishism and an unnatural desire for power over people – what is this to the ADD diagnosis? ADD is simply the rejection of the irrelevant. It is wisdom seeping through the cracks. It is a message from the unconscious that the conscious mind is imprisoned. It is a cry for release. The apathy found in ADD people is a signal to society that humanity is not ready for the premature arrival of the future nor is it prepared to accept the archaic principles and ill-founded policies that control us. This is why the four million plus American home-schooled kids shine and will one day be the people, it is predicted, that will save humanity, notwithstanding ADD identification.

Therefore Attention Deficit may be a gift from the soul. It screams, “I'm not ready for this!” It yells “I don't want that!” and quite simply it states, “This is not for me.” The only judgments in the world that every human being has the right to declare, but sadly are not given the choice to make under the hammer Prussian educational design to foster the needs of a an antiquated competitive surreptitious and manipulative society based in the fears found in current and ancient human physical and biological design.  A design by people in possession and controlling others from an old model of paternal monkey brained ethics that is as old and antiquated as the nervous system it begs to advance.

In conclusion.  It is the demand of consciousness itself that we expand and use the earth and all its resources to grow and prosper.  What we desire is directly tied to the unique design of each human soul expression.  When kids are badly or improperly raised they become confused adults that suffer from gaps in what would otherwise be an education to match the soul. Any and all governmental or policy driven ideologies suppress the natural expression of the soul. Add in the current toxicity of the world, poor nutrition of most Americans and the unnatural programming of the citizenry you get what you see at the mall.  Fat, dumb and sick people that look at you as if to say... "What happened?"  We can do better than this.  In fact we can't do much worse. We have co-opted the future of our children for material gain, ignored the needs of the future with selfish greed and diagnosed human nature as illness only to demand of the body and of each other superhuman qualities that the human organism is simply not yet evolved to.  Then we demand a remedy to the diagnosis, a pill, speed or enhancement to force the mind to focus on what it does not want.  It would appear that we have encroached upon the human machine itself.  We have institutionalized it, homogenized and labeled it to a degree that it has become a not a defect but a social disease.  The disease is called progress.  And the symptom is normal natural human health and the wellbeing.

12 Truly Useable Tips to Overcome Laziness

12 Tips to Overcome Laziness

By Remez Sasson

What is laziness?

It is the desire to be idle, to do nothing and resist effort.

It is a state of passivity and of letting things stay as they are.

Sometimes, we enjoy being a little lazy, such as after working hard for several hours, or on a very cold or warm day, but if this state occurs too often, something has to be done about it.

In order to carry out our chores, work efficiently, live to the fullest, and achieve success, we must learn how to overcome laziness.

Simple tips for overcoming laziness:

1) Break down a task into smaller tasks
We often avoid tasks because we find them too big, too overwhelming, too tiring, or taking too much of our time.

Breaking a task into several smaller tasks can solve this problem. Then, each one will not seem so difficult or intimidating. Instead of having one big task, we will have a series of small tasks, which do not require too much effort.

This approach can be applied not only to tasks, but also to goals and everything else we have or need to do. This will tend to melt much of the laziness and inner resistance we often experience.

2) Rest, sleep and exercise
In some cases, laziness is due to being tired and lacking energy. If this is true in your case, you need to give yourself the rest and sleep you need, and also give your body enough exercise and fresh air.

3) Motivation
In some cases, the reason for laziness is due to lack of motivation. You can strengthen your motivation through affirmations, visualization and thinking about the importance of performing your task or chore or achieving your goal.

4) Have a vision of what and who you want to be
Frequently reflecting on the person we want to be, the goals we want to achieve, and the life we want to live, can motivate us to act.

5) Think about benefits
Think about the benefits you will gain if you overcome your laziness and take action, instead of thinking about the difficulties or obstacles. Focusing on the difficulties of carrying out the task, leads to discouragement, avoidance of taking action and to laziness. It is important that you focus your mind and attention on the benefits, not on the difficulties.

6) Thinking about the consequences
Think about what will happen, if you succumb to laziness, and don't perform your task or chore. Thinking about the consequences of not acting, can also push you to take action.

7) Doing one thing at a time
Focus on doing one thing at a time. If you feel you have a lot to do, you will probably feel overwhelmed and let laziness overcome you, instead of you overcoming laziness.

8) Visualization
Your imagination has a great influence on your mind, habits and action. Visualize yourself performing the task easily, energetically and enthusiastically. Do so before starting with a task or goal, and also when you feel lazy, or when your mind whispers to you to abandon what you are doing.

9) Repeat affirmations
Tell yourself:
"I can accomplish my goal."
"I have the energy and motivation to act and do whatever I want or have to do."
"Doing things makes me stronger."
"Doing things makes things happen."

10) Regards a task as an exercise
Consider each task as an exercise to make you stronger, more decisive and more assertive.

11) Procrastination
Avoid procrastination, which is a form of laziness. If there is something you have to do, why not do it right now and get through with it? Why let it stay nagging at the back of your head?

12) Learn from successful people
Watch successful people, and how they do not let laziness win. Learn from them, talk with them and associate with them.

Overcoming the habit of laziness is achieved through a series of daily actions and activities, when you choose to act, instead of remaining passive. Every time you overcome your laziness you get stronger. Every time you choose to act, you increase your ability to win, achieve goals and improve your life.

A vegan's experiences with Modafinil (Provigil) nootropic stimulant

Text is an account of several experiences from several people.

Check out this New Yorker article

I am a 49 year old.  I have had PTSD and clinical depression for 21 years.  A warrior personality I beat the shit out of depression using a five tiered system.  It worked but it took a huge amount of effort every day.  When I would travel MY GOD would jet lag kill me.  That is when I started to use small 50mg doses of prescription Modafinil.  Being a vegan, a healthy person and extremely cautious what I put into my body I still did not have enough energy and blamed it on age, depression PTSD whatever...    NONE of the very few antidepressants I allowed into my body worked.  Actually they sucked out loud.

A Real Future for Psychology

You may have read about a recent study that suggests psychedelic drugs like “magic mushrooms” and LSD don’t cause any kind of psychological or mental health harm. The authors want to take psychedelics a step further and give them away to people, entirely for free, as a therapeutic treatment

In their study, Johansen and Krebs looked at the data of the U.S. National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Among 135,000 participants, 14% said they used certain types of psychedelics, like LSD, mescaline, peyote, psilocybin, or MDMA in their lifetimes. The researchers concluded that the individuals who had used a psychedelic drug in their lives were no more likely to suffer any kind of mental health problem, including schizophrenia, psychosis, anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts.

A Healthy Perspective on Confidentiality

Pssst. Can you keep a secret? How do you react when you hear these words uttered in a hushed tone? Do you feel important that you are about to be trusted with confidential information, or do you wonder if it’s gossip that you don’t want to hear?
In addition to ensuring that you don’t participate in matters that don’t concern you, it’s even more important to keep any confidence that you have been entrusted with by someone else. You can’t expect to advance personally or professionally if you betray the trust someone has placed in you.
Today’s lesson may prick your conscience; however, my hope is that you will see the immense value in learning the importance of keeping things confidential that should be private and secret.

Gourmet Cooked Carrots with Tim Ferriss

5 Signs Someone Connects With You On A Deeper Level Than Anyone Else

Shields up!
When someone has walls up, it’s always for a reason, but the possibilities for that reason are endless.
Perhaps you are cynical since so far, everyone you date seems to be the same — disconnected, unremarkable and incapable of making a lasting impression. Maybe you suffer from generalized anxiety and, therefore, find it difficult to enjoy the moment.
It could be you've dealt with so much rejection that the opposite concept (someone choosing you) is nothing but a figment of your imagination. It may be you're so used to being disappointed that when you finally meet someone different, you doubt he or she is for real.
But, what if your dream person was for real, and not believing in his or her authenticity was a big mistake?

Film Review "The Imitation Game." A healthy commentary.

The Imitation Game - 2014 - based on a true story.

By Bill Zimmermann

I just finished watching the movie The Imitation Game for the second time tonight. Twice I've seen this film and I still can not wrap my head around it. The importance, the meaning and the magnitude of the gifts Alan Turing gave to a world in the 1940's is simply mind boggling. His sacrifice was rewarded by the British government when they finally drove him to the point of taking his own life on the seventh day of December 1954. In 2013 Queen Elizabeth II posthumously "pardoned" Alan Turing fifty years after his death.  The facts of his work were declassified.  My question is how can you pardon someone who did absolutely nothing wrong?  In my informed opinion the Queen and the British Parliament should have formally apologized to the LGBT community and then given there full support to LGBT interests in the form of a well funded foundation, an educational endowment, grants and programs for gifted LGBT people proportional to his contribution to humanity.  The idea that one would even consider a "pardon" for what must still be considered a crime is the height of insanity.  It sends the message that being different is still wrong.  A "pardon" is not only inappropriate, it is a direct insult to the sensibilities of an exponentially growing world population rapidly moving into an age of equality peace and genuine enlightenment.

Good advice on dealing with anxiety-the narcissist

Tips for Dealing with Anxiety the Narcissist

Thankfully, there are ways to deal with a narcissist in your life, even if that narcissist is anxiety. Here are a few:
  • Know what you’re dealing with: Just as there are different types of narcissists, there are different types of anxiety disorders. There are anxiety treatments that work for all anxiety in general, and there are other treatments that are specific to certain types of anxiety. Knowing about your own specific anxiety/anxieties can help you target it.
  • Make your life about younot the anxiety: Self-centered and commanding as it is, anxiety wants to be the focus of your world. Rather than letting it do so, turn your attention away from it. Begin to define what you want your life to be like (not simply “no anxiety” but instead what specific, positive things do you want in it). Determine what little steps you can take every day to walk away from anxiety and toward your real life.
  • Be realistic in expectations of timing: As a narcissist, anxiety won’t give up easily. It can have a strong hold and it loves it’s power. That said, anxiety isn’t you; it isn’t who you are. It is a controlling parasite that has latched on. When you continue to seek help for anxiety and build your toolbox of strategies to beat it, you will shake it loose.

Why We Should Stop To Check Our Self Deception Quotient Every Now And Then

This speaker is extremely shallow up until about the six minute mark.  Then the meaning of this video really takes off.  I've studied self deception for many years.  I've written papers on the subject and exchanged ideas on the subject with some very brilliant people.  There are answers to the things that stop us.  Using EFT or Tapping to work with our self deceptions, or talk it out with friends, a therapist or even God if sharing is too painful or shameful to us.  We are responsible for our reactions to all of our problems so sometimes we have to suck it up and go see a shrink.  The stigma around therapists I would say is not that therapy does not work but that most therapists suck.  But a bad therapist is better than no therapist at all.  So go and fix your life.  Use the new tools we have at our disposal.

I wish this video was better, that this woman was sixty three years old facing a lifetime of self deception, or that she was fat and "ugly" with far more difficult trials.  The last person we want to hear from is a beautiful thirty five year old who things she knows something.  But she is on point and gives a great talk.

Preventing and Healing Cancer Naturally with Dr. Jameth Sheridan Plus Wireless Wifi Video

Preventing and Healing Cancer Naturally with Dr. Jameth Sheridan at the Integrated Health Conference

Turning off the WiFi on in your home is important.  Especially when you sleep.  It is advisable to attach a timer to switch off the router entirely the hours you sleep and are not using WiFi.  It is very important to disable WiFi if you are sitting close to the WiFi router.  Plug your computer in and turn off the router.  The switch in the router software is usually "disable radio."

Search creiteria to find out how to turn of your router.

1.  Get the make and model of your router:  Example  Asus RTN12
2.  Get the IP address for the router, the login and password (if required).  This must be done with a computer that is plugged directly into the router with a cable (an ethernet cable).  This prevents the computer from disconnecting from the router when the WiFi is turned off.
