Serious Anti-Inflamatory Smoothie (MY PERSONAL RECIPE)

My anti-inflamatory smoothie:

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons hemp seeds (from People's Market Ocean Beach) bulk section 
  • 2 inch piece of ginger (peeled if not organic) - reduce or take capsules if flavor is too strong or unpleasant
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (or take capsules if the taste is not well tolerated)
  • 1tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbs flax oil (oil helps assimilate all the contents of the smoothie into the body)
  • 2-3 cups / or two big hand-fulls of leafy greens (kale, collards, romaine, spinach, chard, etc.) Costco fresh bag of organic greens mix
  • 1 cup of celery
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup of mixed frozen berries of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, etc)
  • ½ cup filtered water (occasionally substitute freshly squeezed organic apple juice)
  • stevia to knock out bitterness of greens

Triphala powder (wikipedia)  may be added for greater anti-inflammatory effect.
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 min or until smooth
  2. Serve immediately or store in airtight container for up to 1 day
Notes
Three days on and one day off.  Don't make it a choice make it a lifestyle.
