Eating Tilapia is Worse Than Eating Bacon
Eating Tilapia is Worse Than Eating Bacon
by Dr. Josh Axe on June 20, 2012
Fish can either be one of the best foods for you or detrimental to your health depending on where it is sourced. There is a world of difference between fish that is caught in the wild, farm-bred or farm-raised fish. The most common farm-raised fish are: salmon, tilapia, sea bass, catfish, and cod.
So why would farm raised fish be toxic to our health? What are the dangers of eating farm-raised fish? We’ll answer all of those queries below!

Director of N. Baja Gerson Center asks: IF IT'S SO GOOD WHY HAVEN'T IHEARD ABOUT IT?
Why haven't I heard at the Gerson therapy?
Update: We met with Dr. Patrick Vickers Sunday November 17th when he was in San Diego. This relatively unknown physician has exploded onto the leading edge of cancer treatment by taking matters into his own hands by opening the state of the art Northern Baja Gerson Center in Rosarito Mexico. Dr. Vickers has been treating patients with the Gerson therapy for over sixteen years. He has reviewed most if not all of Dr. Gerson's personal journals and papers provided to him by Charlotte Gerson herself. He worked side by side with Charlotte Gerson as far back as their time spent in Sedona Arizona where the original therapy was designed after Dr. Gerson's death. He was on staff at the Gerson Institute and is well acquainted with every trained Gerson physician who ever administered the protocol and worked directly with many of the patients filmed in the feature films produced by the Gerson Institute. Dr. Vickers or "Doctor Patrick" as he is known in Mexico, met us in little Italy for a ninety minute meeting.

Will Tuttle "Mechanisms of Denial" - Censored Article
“How can being vegan be so important when so many spiritual leaders eat meat and dairy?”
On some level, we’ve all had to confront this thorny question. We naturally respect and often emulate those whom we perceive as more spiritually aware than we are, and so for Christians, for example, the fact that Jesus is portrayed as eating at least fish seems to be a direct refutation of vegan teachings. For Jews, there’s the passage in Genesis after the flood where Jehovah allows the flesh of certain animals for food, and for Buddhists, the Buddha may be portrayed as eating meat, or at least allowing his followers to do so, and I’ve heard the phrase, “The Dalai Lama eats meat” (though inaccurate) repeated as if it’s a mantra, to justify non-vegan behavior. For Hindus, many revered gurus eat dairy products and Krishna himself is portrayed as a cowherd.

It hasn't been a good week for Monsanto
It hasn't been a good week for Monsanto and the rest of the biotech industry.
Just three days ago, Mexico banned genetically engineered corn. Citing the risk of imminent harm to the environment, a Mexican judge ruled that, effective immediately, no genetically engineered corn can be planted in the country. This means that companies like Monsanto will no longer be allowed to plant or sell their corn within the country's borders.

How to Make Coconut Oil Coffee
I had given up on coffee since 2009 when I received my first diagnosis. Since completing the Gerson Therapy I have been so well, so healthy that occasionally I indulge in a cup of coffee. I make organic coffee with coconut oil. The energy boost comes more from the coconut than from the caffeine. I am able to get up and run in the morning or bike ride far longer than with an empty stomach, cirtus boost or with plain coffee. It's an occasional treat but the energy I get from this is amazing for me but it still falls in the category of an occasional treat and a usual no-no.
How to Make Coconut Oil Coffee
I made a cup of coconut oil coffee yesterday before my morning heated power vinyasa yoga class. I prefer to do yoga 1 – 2 hours after a meal, and since my class was first thing in the morning, a cup of coffee with a little coconut oil was the perfect pre-yoga snack.
You’ll start with a hot cup of coffee.

Reduce Inflammation With a Turmeric Cocktail
Reduce Inflammation With a Turmeric Cocktail
Inflammation Reducing
Turmeric Coconut Water Cocktail
Do you suffer from inflammation, sore joins,
menstrual cramps or even want to repair your muscles faster after yoga or a
really good workout? If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, boy
do we have a cocktail for you! I first started “shooting” coconut water and
turmeric because I was experiencing painful cramps, but the more I did it, the
more people I would encounter who were using turmeric every day to recover
faster from yoga and reduce inflammation as part of their routine.
I personally don’t love the taste of this
cocktail, it tastes a bit like drinking pickles. Let me say though, that a lot
of other people I give this to when they’re in pain usually don’t share in my
experience of the drink and often quite like the taste. All of our taste buds
are unique, so give it a shot. And even if it’s not your favorite, you can
still benefit from turmeric’s healing powers.
The reason you see turmeric mixed in coconut
water, is because coconut water acts as a “carrier” delivering more nutrients
to the cells. It’s also the only liquid on the planet that you can inject
directly into your blood stream as it’s composition is almost identical to that
of blood plasma. Not that you should try injecting it into your blood stream or
anything. Just saying, it’s possible and that’s pretty cool.
Ingredients:
·
1-2 tsp. of Turmeric Powder or
·
1 Oz Juiced Turmeric Root
·
1 cup coconut water OR
·
Mix into fresh vegetable juice made in your juicer (celery,
cucumber, ginger & lemon is a great anti-inflammatory juice to mix your
turmeric into)
Instructions: Mix your turmeric
powder or juiced turmeric root into 1 cup of coconut water (if you don’t have
it you can use water). Or, you can take your turmeric and mix it into a fresh vegetable
juice. Drink right away and you can do this multiple times per day. Note that
if you’re new to juicing or fresh roots, turmeric is very cleansing and you may
need to use the washroom frequently, but this is normal.
